In 1942, the tail bones of a dinosaur were discovered in Missouri and identified as being from a dinosaur called Brontosaurus (now called Apatosaurus). After decades passed, recent excavations at the site have proved that the tail bones are not from a Brontosaurus at all, but a type of dinosaur called a hadrosaur.
